Hey Jimmy sorry it took so long to get back to you.

This is the template for Ka-Blam's standard comic. >> [link] Standard is probably what you need for your comics.

This is the template for their digest-sized comic(manga). >> [link]
And this is the version I made >> [link]

Hope that helps! :D
thanks for the link. What do you do with these templates? do you print them on bristol paper somehow, or just draw them on using these as a reference?
I wouldn't print them on Bristol. The shaded areas would infringe on your printable area and cover things inappropriately with big blocks of gray (or color if you've got a color printer) :P You could print them on a scrap sheet and lightbox-trace them in light pencil, though.

For actual pages, I just measure out the borders myself in light, erasable pencils. I mean, it's amazing what you can do with a ruler, right? :P

For these templates, I use them once I've scanned in my pages to ensure it's all consistent. My hand-drawn pages are measured the same as the templates, so once I open the PSD file, I drag my scanned artwork over. That way I can see what the trimmed version is going to look like add in the proper area. [link]
Thanks for the fave
